Laser Therapy in Pocatello

Gentle Technology to Help Your Body Heal

When pain keeps hanging around, it can be frustrating, especially when it starts interfering with work, exercise, or the things you enjoy. At Johnson Family Chiropractic & Sports Clinic, laser therapy offers a gentle, non-invasive option that may help promote healing and reduce discomfort without adding more stress to your day.
Our practice uses two different types of laser technology, choosing the approach that makes the most sense for you. Because around here, we care for people, not just the condition written on the chart.

Two Types of Laser, Personalized to You

Our Class IV therapeutic warm laser reaches deeper tissues and may be used for concerns involving joints, muscles, discs, and arthritis-related discomfort. We also use Erchonia cold laser technology for more surface-level and neurological concerns.

Laser therapy works by stimulating cellular activity involved in the body’s natural healing processes, including the production of ATP, which cells use for energy. Dr. Johnson may also recommend combining laser with chiropractic care or spinal decompression when he believes the approaches can work well together. There’s no one-size-fits-all formula. We’ll evaluate what’s going on first and choose the technology and care plan based on your individual needs.

What Is a Laser Therapy Session Like?

Sessions are usually quick, lasting around 5-15 minutes depending on the area being addressed. Some patients notice changes after their first session, while others may need a few visits, particularly when a concern is acute or involves deeper tissues. Laser therapy typically isn’t covered by insurance and may involve an additional fee. We’ll explain the costs clearly before moving forward so you know what to expect.

Care With a Human Touch

Trying a new type of care can come with questions, and we want you to feel comfortable asking them. Dr. Johnson will take the time to explain how laser therapy works, why he may recommend it, and what you can expect before getting started. There’s no pressure and no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a friendly conversation about what’s been bothering you and whether laser therapy makes sense for your needs. Contact Johnson Family Chiropractic & Sports Clinic today to learn whether laser therapy may be a good addition to your care.
